When Hyde meets his real father, he is in for a big surprise. Meanwhile, Eric and Donna attend a feminist rally and Kelso prepares himself for the arrival of his baby.
Kitty arranges for Hyde to meet William Barnett, Hyde's biological father. When Barnett arrives, everyone is surprised to see he is black. Initially, Barnett is pleased about meeting Hyde, but he misinterprets remarks from Jackie and accuses Hyde of wanting money from him. Hyde is offended and leaves. Kitty, Red and Jackie champion Hyde to Barnett and then ask him to leave. Later, Barnett returns to apologize for making presumptions about Hyde's motives, citing that if he had discovered a father with money, "he would have felt he owed him something." Hyde and Barnett reconcile and go for a beer together. Meanwhile, Donna, having rededicated herself to feminism, takes Eric to a "Take Back the Night" rally at the park. At the rally, Donna and Eric slip off together to make out. When Donna loudly tells Eric to get off her hair, the women at the rally assume she's in trouble and attack Eric. They steal his clothes and send him home naked. Kelso is anxiously awaiting the birth of his child. He checks in with Brooke periodically to find out the status of her labor. Fez prank calls Kelso, pretending he is the baby. This frustrates Kelso because he wants the line kept free to receive Brooke's phone call. Eventually Kelso gets the call and rushes to Chicago to attend the birth.
