Hyde's upset when he discovers that the gang has thrown a party for the sole purpose of finding him a girlfriend.
Detailed Synopsis
Convinced that Hyde Needs Love, Fez suggests throwing a "Let's Get Hyde a Woman" party. Even Kitty loves the idea; she thinks a girl will help Hyde find his way. Kelso and Bob enter a WFPP radio contest to win a vintage van. One of their competitors is Daniel, an extremely intense guy, who informs them that he's won every WFPP contest since 1972 and he's unbeatable. Plans move ahead for the party. Fez tells Hyde they're throwing a party with girls and a keg for no special reason. Kitty suggests that there may be a girl for Eric, but Eric says he definitely doesn't want Hyde's sloppy seconds. Donna invites Melissa, a girl from the station, and after some hesitation she agrees to come. The van contest has been narrowed down to Bob, Kelso and Daniel. Contestants must have one hand on the van throughout the contest. Anyone who removes his hand will be eliminated, so Daniel has begun making crude remarks about Donna in hopes of getting Bob to come over and try to punch him out. At the party, Hyde's surrounding by girls who all want to talk to him. Hyde tells Fez it's statistically possible that he could nail every single one of them. Fez protests that Hyde's supposed to pick just one and love her. Fez admits that he threw the party to find Hyde a girlfriend. Hyde's says he's out of there. He doesn't need anyone's help. Just then Donna and Melissa arrive; Melissa teases Hyde a little, and he's at a loss for words. Later, the party is in full swing. Hyde's talking to Melissa, Eric's making a bid for sympathy with his broken heart and Fez has become enamored with Big Rhonda. Back at the van, it's now between Kelso and Daniel; Daniel challenges Kelso to a coffee drinking contest, and Kelso falls for it. Before long Kelso's dying for a bathroom break, while Daniel shows him the convenient tube and plastic bottle that he's brought along. Without missing a beat, Kelso pees on the van. Daniel cries foul, but Donna's boss Max says there's no rule against it, unpleasant as it might be. Jackie arrives; she's left the party in a huff, because no one's paying any attention to her. She bombards Kelso with endless questions to be reassured that she's the prettiest girl in the world. Daniel, at the end of his rope, can take no more; he takes both hands off the van and covers Jackie's mouth. Kelso is declared the winner. And Hyde asks Melissa if she'd like to go out sometime. She's all booked up for "sometime," she tells him, but he can give her a call.
