The gang recalls scenes from their past as they wait for their class picture to be taken.
It’s “Class Picture Day,” and Jackie reminds the gang that the only thing more important than their yearbook picture is their yearbook quote. Kelso says that his is going to be, “What a long, strange trip it’s been.” Eric says they need a quote that’s about all of them, maybe how they met. Donna asks Eric if he remembers how they first met. The year is 1968, and Kitty asks Eric (age 7) if he has the brownies she made for the new neighbors. Bob and Donna (age 7) arrive, and Bob’s carrying a pie. Eric and Donna are introduced, and, almost immediately, she punches him in the stomach. Eric says that maybe now they should talk about how he and Hyde first met. Hyde reminds Eric that he promised never to tell this story, but Eric’s telling. When Hyde (age 7) showed up at the Formans with Eric, he was so dirty that Kitty that she orders both boys into the bathtub. Everyone laughs except Hyde. Jackie, looking through a yearbook, shows Eric his last picture with the make-up covered zit. Donna says she doesn’t think he’s ever had a zit-free picture. Eric points out that he’s zit-free this year, because he’s become a man. Fez says the quote should be about the happiest day of their lives which is, of course, the day the met him. The guys remember finding Fez hanging in a closet in the gym foyer; Fez was put there by the football team. Kelso suggests that they call Fez Captain Poo Face. Donna goes on to recall an incident in the Forman kitchen when Hyde beats up on Kelso. Fez recalls his first time seeing Donna when he and Kelso spied on her in her bedroom while she was changing clothes. Kelso mentions that he’s the only one who has never seen Donna’s boobs. Hyde points out that Eric has now grown a zit, just in time for the class picture. Jackie decides that the attention has been focused away from her for far too long. Donna remembers when Jackie (age 12) transfers from Sacred Heart. Donna (age 13) asks who the midget is. She instantly sees that Jackie is a princess. Kelso remembers his and Jackie’s first “date.” Kelso (age 7) and Jackie (age 6) play doctor in a blanket “fort” in the Forman basement while Eric (age 7) stands guard. Red wonders a little about his son, because Eric’s always the one who’s the guard. It’s time for the class picture, and the gang’s all there including Eric with the big zit. And Kelso’s dream comes true when Donna lifts up her shirt and flashes him.
