Fez Dates Donna

To get Caroline off his back, Fez pretends to be dating Donna while Eric enjoys living as a bachelor again. And the guys establish a pool which will pay off when the reunited Kelso and Jackie have their first fight.

Fez is surprised to encounter Caroline in the mens' room at The Hub. When she says she still wants to be with him, Fez reminds her that it's over between them; he loves Donna. If he's lying, she'll know, Caroline tells him, because she's always watching him. Eric agrees to let Fez "borrow" Donna. The guys are sick of watching Jackie and Kelso act so lovey-dovey. Eric proposes a pool that pays off when the lovebirds have their first fight. Fez thanks Donna for helping him out with his problem. Hyde observes that Eric's going to be living the single life for a while. Bob, who's been looking at the deed to his house, tells Red that it looks like he owns a couple of feet of Red's driveway. Fez and Donna have their first "date" at The Hub with Caroline glaring at them the entire evening. Eric's enjoying his bachelor life. He doesn't have to take Donna to chick flicks, and he can lounge on the sofa in his boxers and generally act like a slob. Since he believes it's on his property, Bob begins taking over a section of the Formans' garage. The guys are carefully monitoring Jackie and Kelso, so they'll know exactly when their first fight starts. There's already been an exchange that might qualify, but Fez determines that it wasn't really a fight. Donna asks Eric if he misses her, and he assures her he doesn't. Donna tells him about all the cool things that she and Fez have been doing and how charming he is. Eric protests that he would have done some of those things with her, but Donna says the important thing is that they're both having a great time. Now Eric just feels stupid. Fez tells Eric that if he were married to a woman like Donna, he'd be in heaven. A fantasy sequence follows in which Fez and Donna are Ricky and Lucy with Red and Kitty showing up as Fred and Ethel. Eric asks Fez if Donna mentions him at all, and Fez assures him that she doesn't. Eric thinks that it's about time for him to start cleaning up his act. Jackie and Kelso find out about the pool, and Kelso says he'd have loved to have a piece of it. Jackie's upset that Kelso would bet agains their love, but he asks how often one has a chance to bet on a sure thing. The pool's over, and Red declares himself the winner. Red establishes that Bob's been reading the deed wrong; in fact he owns some of Bob's property. Caroline confronts Fez and Donna, and Donna tells her to back off. Fez doesn't like her anymore. And Eric shows up at The Hub to get his girlfriend back. They both confess that they missed each other. And Fez protests that his date isn't over yet.
