Eric is named Employee of the Month at Pricemart, but he can't understand why Red isn't happier about it. When Donna wins Led Zeppelin tickets and Eric has to work the night of the concert, the gang fights over who will get the second ticket. And Fez sees the most beautiful girl in the world but is afraid to talk to her.
Eric's amazed to hear that he's been named Pricemart's Employee of the Month and has received a twenty-five cent an hour raise. Laurie's finished two weeks of cosmetology school, and Kitty and Red are thrilled that she hasn't yet flunked out. So far, she's been working on dummies, but now she has to work on a real person's hair. There are no volunteers at first, but after Laurie threatens to quit, Kitty agrees to be her hair model. At The Hub, the gang is bored to tears as Eric drones on and on about his award. Then Fez spots Caroline, a girl from his gym class who he's afraid to speak to but thinks is devastatingly beautiful. The guys urge him to go talk to her. He fantasizes that he tells her that she's the most beautiful girl he's ever seen and spins her away for a dance. In fact, he doesn't have the courage to make a move. Donna arrives with fantastic news. She's won two tickets from a local radio station to the Led Zeppelin concert on Tuesday night. She's ecstatic, but Eric, in his new role as stellar employee, says it's inventory at Pricemart and he can't possibly go to the concert. The rest of the gang starts fighting about who will go with Donna to see Led Zeppelin. Laurie has given Kitty an unbearably bad perm, but Kitty's a good sport and pretends to like it. She firmly draws the line, however, when Laurie says that what she needs now is a haircut. Red tells Eric not to get too caught up in his award and raise, and he gets really annoyed when Eric grabs the check when they're having lunch together. At The Hub, everyone continues to discuss who should get the second concert ticket. Donna encourages Fez to go talk to Caroline; he gives it a try but only manages to embarrass himself. Eric's furious that Red wouldn't let him pick up the check, but Red reminds him that he's not king of the world. Eric says he doesn't have to take it; he's Employee of the Month. Donna encounters Caroline in the ladies' room at the Hub. Caroline is very nervous, but she manages to ask Donna about Fez. Donna couldn't be happier. She offers to introduce them, but Caroline's too embarrassed and bolts from the room. Laurie announces that she's quitting school. Kitty tells her it's not going to happen. This time Laurie's sticking to something she's started. Red has a dream that Eric's in his fifties and still working at Pricemart. Later Eric tells him he thinks Red's crazy and just likes to yell at him. Red says it's just that Eric's smart, and he deserves better than Pricemart. Red's been a working stiff for thirty years because he fell for the attraction of a steady pay check. Eric needs to set his sights higher. Donna shows up in the Forman basement an hour before the concert and says she forgot to tell everyone that she gave the concert tickets away. And Fez arrives at the Led Zeppelin concert and discovers that he and Caroline are seated side by side.
