Original Airdate: October 25, 1998
Writer: Dave Schiff
Director: David Trainer
When the kids find a keg in the middle of the road, they decide to throw a party at a deserted house and charge admission. Eric goes off in search of a tap and returns just as Bob, Red and a couple of police officers are arriving to break up the party.
Detailed Synopsis
At Donna’s urging, Eric makes up a story and gets them both excused from study hall. Donna is delighted that Eric is actually skipping class. While driving around in the Vista Cruiser with Kelso and Hyde, Eric and Donna spot a beer keg in the middle of the street. Fez helps them hid the keg in the Forman basement. Eric suggests that they throw a party and charge admission, but since Kitty has already seen them getting a tub and lots of ice, they’d better get the keg out of the house. Kelso says he knows of a vacant house, totally private, where you can get away with anything. Kitty and Midge are excited about the TV mini-series, "Rich Man, Poor Man." Kitty tells Midge, Bob and Red about seeing the kids with a tub of ice, and Midge adds that Donna left their house with a lot of plastic cups. The two dad immediately get the picture and take off in search of the beer party. In the drained swimming pool of the deserted house, Jackie tells Kelso that she can’t believe he gave away their secret make-out place. She didn’t swipe the key from her mom’s real estate office just so they could have a beer bash. People are lining up for the party when Eric and Kelso discover that the keg doesn’t have a tap. Hyde tells Donna he thinks Eric came up with the beer party idea just to impress her. Kelso is able to buy a tap, but he encounters two bullies from school who break it before he’s able to get back to the party. While their husbands are out looking for the kids, Midge and Kitty have a few drinks and a little girl talk. When they’re unable to repair the tap, Hyde tells Eric to go steal a tap from his dad. Jackie’s mom arrives to show the house and, when she sees all the kids in the empty pool, doesn’t miss a beat. Bob, Red and a couple of cops arrive at the party just as Eric returns with the stolen tap. Eric knows that Red’s going to kill him, but feels better when Donna tells him what a cool guy he is.
